Tiera Brown can be considered a rising legal star. As Tiera awaits her bar results, she focuses on learning from some of the most notable names in Law. Tiera previously worked as a legal extern at Rathod | Mohamedbhai and, most recently, a Trial Division Intern with the Colorado State Public Defenders Office. Early in her career, she worked in commercial litigation at Campbell Killan Brittan and Ray and in juvenile defense with the Colorado Juvenile Defender Center.

 

Tiera received her J.D. from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, and her B.A. from Boston College. She was a student attorney at the Criminal Defense Clinic and a research assistant in the undergrad Criminology Department during law school. In addition, Tiera served as the Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, associate editor of the Denver Law Sports and Entertainment Law Journal, and member of the DU National Client Counseling Team. She also participated as a panelist on Coerced Confessions and Womxn Breaking Barriers during the 2019 and 2020 DU Civil Rights Summit. Before law school, Ms. Brown worked in the technology industry at Oracle and Verizon, helping to create their customer experience strategies for SaaS and e-commerce businesses.
